Well, it's been forever and I don't remember everything, but if you're really a Hexer, and really have as much INT as you have FAI, then the 2 best choices for you are NOT to use Magic or Lightning weapons (such as Watcher or Defender), but Fire or Dark weapons, because Fire and Dark are both increased by INT and FAI, whereas Lightning only by FAI and Magic only by INT. most of my weapons are dark infused as i hex a lot and dark damage seems to be pretty ok in this game.Ī lot of people like the estoc as well.So, for a 30 int/ 30 faith hexer build, would using both the Defender Greatsword and Watcher Greatsword work well? just dark infuse those babies and you're golden. also the bandit axe you can pick up from no man's wharf, believe it or not, is pretty decent early game. that fire longsword you pick up from FotFG isn't too bad until something better comes along, just dark infuse it. there are a decent selection of dark weapons around. i try and keep my infusions to w/e the weapon sometimes already has a touch of.

If you haven't already you'll go to the shaded woods area. you can buy it outright from her from memory, you don't have to trade a boss soul i'm pretty sure but i may be wrong. exaust her dialogue and she moves to brightstone cove tseldora. you have to go down the big hole in the ground with the basilisks in it in the shaded woods area. Tbh the dark hexer weapon that does the most damage for mine is the crypt blacksword but pound for pound realistically, silverblack spear, or going off pryban's post, roaring halberd would be right up there. Murakamo dark infused is pretty decent as well, 20 str and 20 dex. Sacred chime hammer dark infused is another heavy hitter but is also 40 str.ĭarkdrift dark infused i found surprisingly ok but it's 28 dex req. crypt blacksword dark infused and dark buffed does pretty outrageous damage but as pryban said. You can also try the crypt blacksword, if you want to invest in STR and walk around with a giant popsicle. You can try the sickle as well, but that can take some farming. The Silverblack spear is another good weapon. The durability can be an issue, so stock up on repair power. Don't overuse the spin2win though, unless you want to end up with a broken halberd that hits like a geriatric parkinsons patient. The thing hits like a truck if dark infused and dark buffed.
